Description
We are looking for someone to move into the third bedroom of our gorgeous St Andrew's flat. Super close to St Andrew's Park, and Gloucester Road, this flat is in an ideal location. Looking to make the place cosy and homely, not a party house. We've only just moved in ourselves (don't worry, there will eventually be furniture for the common spaces), but the landlord was happy for us to move in as two and continue searching (you'd still be put on the tenancy agreement). Because of this the room is available now and we're looking for someone who could fill it asap. The landlord is excellent, super friendly, a handyman himself so great at fixing things as and when this needs doing (quick to respond to issues as well)
You'd be living with myself, a 25 year old folky singer-songwriter (who works in retail to keep the bills paid, but that's slightly less whimsical to lead with). I am friendly and gently sociable, and enjoy a cosy, peaceful home. I love cooking and baking, spending time outdoors, drinking tea on the sofa... All the wholesome stuff.
And Magenta and Mimi (the cat). Magenta is an occupational therapist by day, semi-retired raver, artist, Buddhist, yogi and cat mama! 40, Non-smoker,
Social but respectful and considerate in equal measure.
The rent for the room would be £613
And the flat is in council tax band C, which comes to £60.75 each.
We've not lived here for long enough yet to give an idea of the bills but with gas, electric and water it should only put you a little over £700 a month
