Description
Live-in owner and lodger seeking second lodger.
For offer is a spacious, furnished room with double bed, huge double wardrobe, desk, drawers and an office chair.
The house features a very large bright living room with huge TV and small Juliet balcony, and a large kitchen including a dishwasher, washing machine, tumble drier, and nice bean to cup coffee machine.
The house is very quiet. I'm not home often, and the other lodger is very quiet.
The house is located immediately behind Temple Meads station, so very central, just 1 minutes walk to the station, Greggs, Sainsburys local etc. and a few minutes walk to Broadmead, Cabot Circus, Castle Park etc.
The house is a modern build and well insulated, brand new boiler and programmable thermostats in every room.
I'm a 40 year old software engineer, I mostly work from home and spend a lot of time away, so I'm not home all that often. The other lodger is a data scientist working nearby in a hybrid role.
We are both super chill, occasionally we will go out and do something locally such as board games or the theatre and have the odd drink, but mostly we keep to ourselves. I spend most of my time in my room, and current lodger is similar, so the house is not busy and living room is often free.
The ideal person will be a professional, who is very quiet and very clean, who keeps the kitchen and shared areas tidy. Fortunately with a dishwasher it's trivial!
The house can be a bit creaky so ideally would like someone that has a 9-5 type routine and doesn't get up super early like 6am, so that we're all fairly in sync.
This room includes all bills, including council tax and broadband. We have a small shared pot for essentials like toilet paper, coffee, dishwasher tablets etc. which works out to be just a couple of quid a month.
A residents parking permit is available if needed for whatever the council is charging these days.
Age 25+, professional/phd in full time employment, no couples, pets, or children. If you get in touch please include some details about who you are, what you do, etc, we're looking for someone who is a good fit above all else.
You may be asked to provide a recent payslip/reference/contract of employment depending on circumstances.
Viewings are possible from 23rd onwards.
