Room to let in friendly leafy Redland house

Hello!

We are two friendly mid thirties guys looking for someone to join in our house share. We have been firm friends since meeting at a festival in 2018 and started living together since October last year which we have really loved and would like to share with someone likeminded.

I (Rubin) am the homeowner, I have lived here for 10 years now trying to make the house as nice as possible. I had thoughts on selling earlier this year but my plans have changed which is why there's potential with a long term room available. I have been a live in landlord on and off for more than a decade, so very experienced and understanding.

We both enjoy playing music, chatting, sometimes watching shows and working one our various projects!

I am quite into carpentry so often working on something, I am also studying for a Holistic Massage Diploma (potential extra perk to living here) and I own a little old pet supply shop at the top of Whiteladies. Other parts of my weekly routine include the gym and yoga classes, I also try to get up to the downs early each morning for meditation practice - sometimes with friends who join in!

Henry is a Forest School teacher so often bringing home random twigs and rocks but when he's not doing that can often be found strumming his guitar singing dulcet tones in the living room, or at his circus studio space in town practicing trapeze!

We both love getting into nature and we are both interested in self improvement, philosophy and psychology - there's a high chance to engage in wide reaching conversations. We are also part of a large lovely friendship group that we share in Bristol.

We would love to find someone who feels that aligns with their routine, outlook and "vibe".

The house is a well maintained and kitted out town house, we have a garage for bike storage, a garden, living room, second communal room etc you would share a bathroom with Henry only.

The neighbourhood and street is really nice and relaxed, our road is lined with trees which look great at the moment and we are far enough back from Whiteladies Road to avoid any road noise and busyness, yet still very close to its amenities!

We have a cat called Softy, she has lived here for almost 9 years now! She is super sweet, no drama cat but also quite funny!

The room can come furnished or unfurnished - just let me know, and we have some space for storage if that's necessary. The room is also on the rear of the property, which means morning sun and it's super quiet.

Bills are all included - Council tax, Electricity, Gas, Water, Broadband - totalling around £250 each which makes the room rental closer to £500.

We are not in a hurry, but the room is currently vacant and so can be available at short notice. We would like to prioritise finding the right person over filling the room etc. So let us know where you're at and don't be put off by the date.

There is a chance that I may put the house on the market at the end of the year after I have finished my diploma... but this is TBD and certainly not an imminent issue. I am also planning to go travelling early next year so far more likely that nothing will change with the house.
