Helpful Housemate required for Redland Bristol BS6

A warm and friend person is seeking a Helpful Housemate for their home to give them a little bit of help – up to 5 hours a week - in exchange for the lower-than-market- rent.

This person would really benefit from some practical help around the house including help with computer and simple IT, online orders, occasional simple DIY, a little help in the garden and sometimes taking the friendly dog for a walk.

The Helpful Housemate is also requested to keep their bedroom, shower room and kitchenette clean and tidy, and to leave any communal areas such as the hall, staircase and main kitchen (for occasional use only) clean and tidy after use.

The accommodation on offer is large and very well-presented furnished double bedroom with sofa and ample storage, small kitchenette for sole use, and a shower room primarily for sole use (shared with the Host’s occasional overnight guests).

The property is conveniently located in Redland, a 5-minute walk from Clifton Down Station and regular buses (approx. 20-25 minutes) to the centre of Bristol.

The person’s interests include their garden, their dog (very well-behaved and friendly), charity work and spending time with their friends and family.

The Housemate’s kitchenette contains an airfryer, toaster, microwave and single hob, and this is their primary cooking space, however the Host will allow the Housemate to respectfully cook in the main kitchen occasionally by arrangement, and similarly sit in the main sitting room.

Helpful Housemates usually work or study (mature students) and have a few spare hours each week to offer a light hand to their Host. The ideal Helpful Housemate will be a positive, friendly, kind, helpful, tidy and reliable non-smoker who goes out to work/study during the working week.
