Description
I’m moving to France on the 7th December, so I’m in need of someone to replace me in my flat.
The room is bright and spacious, with enough room for a little yoga mat in the middle if that’s what you’re into. There’s a step in the middle to help separate the room a bit as well (which I love).
We live right next to the Redland train station which is super handy, as well as a bus stop on the road opposite. Gloucester Road is a 5 minute walk and it takes about 25/30mins to walk into the city centre.
The living space is big and spacious and has huge windows across the room, so the sun really makes it nice and warm in there during the colder months. Also being the top floor flat, we don’t usually need to put the heating on too much, as the heat rises from the flats below. During summer the windows open up, as well, so it’s lovely and breezy!
The kitchen is fairly simple and a nice size with a skylight.
We have 1 bathroom, 1 shower room and a toilet, which is amazing! The showers are nice and hot 👌 I don’t really ever use the other two, as I’ve never really needed to!
About the housemates:
Jon is a music producer who works at Factory Studios, as well as working from home time to time. He’s a super quiet housemate and really lovely.
Finn is a drummer and gets up super early to go to a studio every day to practise. He’s extremely talented and a right laugh. He mostly gigs at the weekend with a few bands that he’s in, if you ever want to join him.
There is a garden out the back, but it’s a bit overgrown, so I don’t usually go out there. I think if someone was to move in and make it nice, you could totally enjoy it during the warmer months. It wouldn’t take too much effort at all.
Bills are on top, but usually around £100 maximum, probably a bit less- including WiFi.
There is on street parking (free on Sat/Sun) and 2 spaces on the drive that are first come first served, which is usually fine. You can email the cousin to get a permit and they will sort it for you, but I never bothered because I normally get a space on the drive.
Let me know if you’re interested in viewing the flat and I’ll schedule you in. Credit checks will be made, unless you have a guarantor, so it’s important that you’re able to commit before paper work begins. The sooner the better please!
(I will post more pics when I get a chance! At the moment it’s just pictures of my bed and room 😅)
NEW TENANT:
Must complete the forms by 7th November. Must be in full time employment and earn 30 times the rent or have a guarantor.
Kindest regards,
Cydney
