The house is a good size with a large open plan kitchen, three bathrooms, garden and a storage room for bikes etc. The room's a medium sized double which comes fully furnished. Street parking available.
Rent includes all bills and a weekly cleaner.
Housemates are mostly young professionals and are relaxed and clean. It's definitely not a party house and can be quiet here at times but a few of us go for drinks now and again.
We rent the rooms from the agency individually so you'd need to go through referencing with them. They've given some info on this:
• Must have no County court judgements against them or a bad credit rating
• Must earn over 21k
• Holding deposit of 1 weeks rent (£161) held while referencing takes place, this comes off the actual deposit when moving in
Just for some background the landlord used to fill the rooms but we started to find people ourselves and pass details on to them for approval. The agency now handles the running of the house house so they'll need to do referencing before you can move in.
Planning to do viewings the evening of 9th Jan.
Other housemates are Will (26), Zoe (27), Craig (30) and Plamen (41) with varied interests between us all.
