Double room available from the 1st of May in a four-bedroom flat in Redland, close to Gloucester Road.
The flat is in a Victorian building, with two floors - we are on the top floor. There is a bike shed and shared parking outside the flat, plus lots of on-street parking.
Rent is £580 per month, plus bills of around £135 a month which includes council tax (band C). Private landlord, one month's rent is needed as a deposit. The initial contract would be for six months, then on a rolling monthly basis.
The room comes with a desk, wardrobe and chest of drawers. Ideally you’d provide your own bed frame and mattress, but the landlord may be able to supply a standard double bed frame if needed.
We’re a chilled and friendly household of working professionals in our 40s – two females and one male.
It’s not a party house, but we get on well and sometimes we catch up over a drink and a film. Everyone values as well their own quiet space and independence as we have all different schedules and lives.
We’d like a flatmate with a similar outlook.
The flat is very near Gloucester Road with its many shops and pubs (the Gallimaufry is our local and we like it a lot!) , and within walking distance of the surrounding green spaces, eg St Andrews Park and the Downs. There are good bus routes to other parts of the city including the town centre as well as a local train stop nearby.
