We are a sociable house of 10 who are all working professionals and got to know each other through moving in here. The landlord gives us the power to choose people hence why people stay for a few years.

Your room is a kitchenette with an oven, fridge, hob plus an en-suite. The only bills you pay for are your own rooms energy and water which comes to £35-£55 a month (dependent on use!). Your council tax and Wifi are already covered in the rent.

We also have a a big shared downstairs living room with sofas, tv and kitchen. A few of us cook downstairs (and everyone in the house has cupboard + fridge space downstairs) and during winter a few work downstairs as well as the energy in the communal areas are free so we usually have the heating on.

The house is the best of both worlds. While we’re a social bunch and usually there's something happening (life drawing, house meals , a gig here and there) we're all respectful of everyone's space, and pretty chilled during weekdays. People hop in and out of the activities whenever they please

We love a night in at home watching movies and also a night at the pub, there’s usually always someone keen to hang out. In the run up to Christmas we have got a Christmas meal planned and in the new year, a Winter Olympics with our next door neighbours.

As said, everyone hops in and out of these activities so no pressure if you just want a chill one in
