Double room in sunny redland house

Hello!

Our lovely housemates is off travelling, so we have a room available to rent in our lovely home, not far from Gloucester Road.

We’re Alex, Lizzie, Josh, and Jake and we’re looking for fun and friendly person to move in, preferably a gal to keep the balance. We’re working professionals in our late twenties/early thirties, and all quite creative - Lizzie is a filmmaker, Jake works in publishing, Josh is a gardener, and Alex is a photographer working in sustainability.

We're all into the very Bristol pursuits climbing, swimming, pottery, music, surfing etc. We’ve recently started making the garden more of a haven, so anyone who wants to join on us on that venture would be very welcome! We’re all pretty chill during the week and the house is nice and peaceful, and we're out and about on weekends but like to hang out/go to gigs (and the pub! Normally the Galli) when we’re about!

The house is a big Edwardian terrace with high ceilings and big bright windows, and some fun original features like stained glass. The house has a lovely big living room, kitchen, and a decent sunny back garden (great for summer!) It’s an easy walk to the downs as well as being close to Gloucester Road. We’re lucky enough to have a great landlady who lives nearby and is on hand to solve any issues (but never comes around unannounced...) We don’t have any pets but there are a few cats in the neighbourhood that come to say hello from time to time :).

The room is on the top floor with a lovely landing area which is great for storage or you could make it your own with a desk / settee. There are two flights of stairs to get to the room. It comes with furniture and gets really nice afternoon light. There are two bathrooms and a utility room, with bike storage too. On street parking outside is fine with a permit, or free just the next street over. There’s an office room available that is shared between the two upstairs rooms.

We're starting a new lease on the 26th Jan, and are looking for someone to move in then. The agency required references and a basic credit check. Bills are about £125 per month so all in its about £675
