One of our current housemates is very sadly moving out to live with her boyfriend, so we’re looking for someone to take over her room from 28th March.
The room:
It is a very spacious double room (the pictures really don’t do the size justice!), with plenty of space for home working as well as storage. The room comes unfurnished, but Lauren is selling the wardrobe if the new tenant would be interested.
The flat:
The flat is lovely, bright, and well kept, with a very responsive landlord. There is a shared lounge/kitchen and a bathroom with a shower. We have furnished the shared spaces ourselves and are always happy for any additional contributions that fit the space and make it feel homely.
There is designated storage for individual food items, and we generally share crockery and kitchen utensils.
The rent is £758 per month, plus £150 for bills paid into a shared account. This covers council tax, water, gas, electricity, internet, insurance, streaming services, and shared household items.
The flat is just off Whiteladies Road, a 5-minute walk from Clifton Down Station, around a 25-minute walk to the city centre, and very well connected by bus. There is permitted on street parking (free to park outside of mon-fri 9-5) and secure space for a bike inside the property.
About us:
Grace works as an engineer at EDF, and Steff works as a digital editor for a charity. We’re housemates-turned-friends and are looking for someone who’d enjoy a friendly, relaxed household. We often spend evenings and weekends catching up, cooking together, watching something on TV, or heading out to the gym, for a walk, or for food and drinks. We’re active and social but also respectful of each other’s space, and we’d love someone who feels at home doing the same.
