2 double rooms in Southville

We have 2 spare rooms and we are looking for two new male housemates for September 2024 (move-in date will be from the 5th September 2024). Sadly our two current male housemates are both moving in with their partners!

The Rooms

The rooms are both comfortable, cosy mid-sized double rooms, on the first floor. They come furnished, as pictured, with a bed, a chest of drawers and a wardrobe. All rooms in the house are the same rent (pictures 1 and 2 are the first bedroom and pictures 3 and 4 are the second).

The house has 2 bathrooms, one has a shower and the other has a bath/shower.

Flatmates sought:

To keep the balance, we are looking for male housemates only.

Whilst we are always up for the occasional social drink and games night, this is most definitely not a party house and would not suit someone who regularly parties into the night or is up at all hours of the night.

We both work 9-5 jobs from home a few days a week, so we do need the house to be quiet during weekdays. The rooms would therefore suit people on a similar working schedule.

Given that we are all a bit older, we definitely value having a clean and tidy house and would also want a housemate willing to get stuck into a house rota and isn’t shy of doing their fair share of the cleaning.

Basically, we’d like someone who will treat this house as a home and not just a room to store things in and sleep occasionally! We want to be friends as well as housemates!

Rent and Bills

The rent is currently £500.00 a month, payable on the 4th of each month, with bills on top of this (they usually average out to around £110 per person per month - weather permitting!). There is no deposit payable but we ask for the first month's rent in advance.

Our landlord, Dan, is a private landlord and is absolutely lovely to deal with. He is always quick to respond to any issues and we have a great relationship with him (hence trusting us enough not to need a deposit!)

There is free on-street parking and room for a bike.

Current Housemates

Lucy - 32, finance administrator. Likes singing, playing the piano and going to gigs. I enjoy cooking Korean food, hiking and camping in my spare time. Enjoys playing board games, going for a chilled drink at the pub.

Heidi - 30, trainee solicitor. Enjoys cycling, running, hiking and camping, also going to gigs, the odd club night and board games.
