Double Ensuite Room in Friendly Home – Bills Incl.

Hi! We’re Ed and Sophie – a couple in our 20s looking for a lovely new lodger to join us in our three-bed terraced home with a small garden.

The room available is a spacious double with a big wardrobe, chest of drawers (one from the pictures will be removed), and a double bed. It also has its own ensuite with a shower, toilet and sink. There’s plenty of space to add a desk if you need one, especially if you work from home – we both do too!

The kitchen/diner is bright and sunny (south-facing!) and a great spot for cooking and chatting. The front room is a cosy living space with a large TV that we often use for film nights. We’ll want to choose what’s on when we're using it, but most of the time we’ll be happy to invite you to join us, or you’re welcome to use the space when it’s free. There’s also a lovely area next to the TV space with an open fireplace – perfect for a quiet evening with a book or a cuppa.

A bit about us: we love walking, wild swimming, camping and playing board games (we’ve got a collection of 70+!). We’re generally pretty quiet and enjoy a peaceful home, but we sometimes have friends over for a BBQ or dinner, which you'd always be welcome to join.

We also live with Laurel, our sweet and gentle young border collie, so you’ll need to be happy with dogs - you'd be welcome to take him for a walk now and then!

We’re ideally looking for a tidy and respectful professional (though we’re open to a mature student) who’s happy in a calm, friendly household. Someone up for the occasional natter in the kitchen – and maybe even a board game or two – would be great.

All bills are included, and we'd like to chat about splitting the cost of a cleaner once a month. We have space for a bicycle, and it's possible to get a resident's parking permit for a car.
