Double room available at a lovely 2-bed flat in Southville. Fantastic location - 3 mins walk to Asda, 5 mins to North Street, 5 minute walk to Wapping Wharf, 20 mins to the centre, and loads of buses.

The room can be furnished or unfurnished, if needed there is a double bed and chest of drawers that can be used; if not these will be removed before you move in. The room also has built-in storage cupboards, drawers and shelving.

The rest of the flat is furnished, but if you want to add any furniture to the communal space you're welcome to if we can fit it in. There's a lovely patio space with a garden table and chairs plus lots of space for plants and bikes.

Please note: the flat is at basement level, accessed via a set of steps from the street level (see photos). Also, there's a cat! (she's wonderful).

About me:
I'm 32, and work from home a few days a week but do go into the office. I'm considerate, and affable, but do appreciate alone time. I'd love to be friendly with my housemate, so someone who likes a chat and a bev is very appreciated. I'm very into left wing politics, comedy, arts and a glass of wine. Also, this is an LGBTQ+-friendly home and I'd be looking to keep it that way.

About the tenancy:
My housemate is moving out so I'm looking for a new housemate to share with me; the contract is 12 months with an option to break at 6 months.
Council tax band is B.
