Description
Hi everyone!
We've got a gorgeous double room available to move in from the 14th of February <3.
It's quite a roomy double with plenty of room for a desk that gets loads of morning sunshine. We have 2 full bathrooms, one upstairs and one downstairs. We have a shared kitchen with 2 full fridge/ freezers and also a washer/ dryer. We have a lovely living room and garden for us to hang out in as well.
There's 6 people in the house, but honestly, you wouldn't know it because we keep the place clean and tidy and there's plenty of space for everyone. We're all very chill about it, but would still love to have someone who's ok with a cleaning rota.
For the location it's such a good price at £715 all inclusive. That's right, inclusive of ALL bills that the landlord takes care of for us. It's a fixed price, so you know exactly how much you're going to pay each month. Deposit will also be a month's rent.
We're a stones throw away from North St and East St with lots of lovely shops and also the market at Tobacco Factory on Sundays.
Nearest grocery store is ASDA, but you've also got Aldi and Lidl pretty close by and a Better Food over the bridge if you wanna treat yourself.
The East St bus stop is a few minutes walk away where you can catch the 24, 43 or most of the 70s buses and the m1. Bedminster train station is a 10min walk away and that will get you to Temple Meads and the east of Bristol pretty quickly. Omg you can catch the A1 to the airport from West St in less than half an hour, it's amazing.
You can park on our street, but just be aware that we're only allowed 2 parking permits per household and they're both taken atm, so if you have a car it might be a bit tricky.
Pubs: very important. Our local is the Coronation, which if you haven't been before, is an absolute Bedminster staple. The Dame which is near the skatepark is also nearby and if that's not your thing, there's plenty of options at Wapping Wharf or along North St.
In term of us as housemates, we're all professionals working in a number of different industries. We've got a composer, a potter, a couple of people in hospitality and someone in teaching, so we're covering quite a lot of bases!
It never feels like the household is super full as everyone is on different schedules and people are often away back home or on holiday/ festivals or with partners. We all live busy lives, but we get along really well. It's quite a peaceful household and we'll occasionally go for a pint together or hang out in the garden which is a perfect little sun trap in summer.
If you've got a TV, that would be amazing, as we've been without one for a while but it would be nice to get a movie night going again especially in the cozy months!
If you'd like to see the room, give us a shout. We'd love to meet you :)
Lots of love,
Peta, Amber, Jaz, Meredith and Beth
