Double Room in Lovely House - £680 all in.
Available from the 10th-11th of March, for our house share in Southville, just off North Street and the Tobacco Factory, available from the 10th of March - can be flexible.

The room: It’s a good size double room located upstairs on the first floor overlooking garden/patio and trees in the background. The sun shines directly through the window towards the afternoon and evening and the room is nice and bright during the day. It is a very quiet room without noise from the street or the rest of the house.
Rent and bills (all included) is £680 per month, and £600 deposit.

The room comes semi-furnished with a double bed, a wardrobe and some other bits and bobs but we can also adapt. There is also an attic in the house where you can store long-term items such as suitcases, etc.

Location: The location of the house is really great. Within a 1-minute walk, you can access lots of cafes, shops, a pharmacy, an organic deli, an Aldi supermarket, a bus stop to town, and a big park, gym, Tobacco Factory theatre/bar etc.

The house: The house was recently refurbished and has plenty of light throughout, with a large open-plan kitchen/lounge featuring a dining table, sofa, and big double-glazed doors with a view of the garden. The patio/garden is great for barbecues, etc. We also have a bike shed in the garden for bike storage.
The kitchen has all modern appliances: a washing machine, fridge, freezer, microwave, oven, gas hob, air fryer, rice cooker, blender, and lots of cutlery and pots and pans to share (or you can keep your own, of course). There is also plenty of storage space for each housemate in the kitchen cupboards, and everyone has an allocated shelf in the fridge, plus other shared shelves.

Cleaning rota: There is a cleaning rota where we divide the tasks, so each housemate is in charge of cleaning one area of the house each week. They can do it whenever it suits them best during that week.

About the housemates: We have mixed nationalities (Spanish, Indian, and Chinese), and we all enjoy cooking and having chats in the kitchen — occasionally a garden barbecue or drinks in the nice weather. We are all professionals but are also open to having a student or someone receiving DSS.

Everyone is open and friendly, and we all value maintaining a peaceful and respectful environment. We encourage communication between us at all times, either in person or via the housemates’ WhatsApp group. Most of us currently work from home at least part of the week, so noise levels need to be kept under control by everyone.

And a bit about you: We are looking for someone who respects the common rules of cleanliness and tidiness and follows the cleaning rota system. The ideal candidate will also have good communication skills and be able to respond in a calm and helpful manner to any issues raised by other housemates.
