Hi everyone, my housemate has just moved back to Mexico so I'm now looking for someone to join me and my rescue pup Billie in our home in St Anne's.
The house is in a quiet cul de sac next to the River Avon, in a quiet area surrounded by beautiful walks and nature. We're very close to Troopers Hill and Conham River Park, so perfect if you love walking and river-based activities!
The room is a small double furnished with a new double bed, wardrobe and some drawers, and has main use of the bathroom next door as I have an en suite. The third bedroom has a desk which can be used for working from home as I tend to work from the table downstairs.
There's lots of storage available, including a garage for bikes, paddle boards etc. We have a beautiful little garden which is perfect for summer chilling with a glass of wine or a bbq.
The house is a 15/20 minute walk to bustling Church Road and St George's Park, a flat 40 minute walk or 10 minute cycle to Temple Meads and the number 5 bus goes from here through town (30 mins to the Hippodrome) and up to Clifton.
A bit about us! I'm 38 and adopted Billie 5 months ago - she's a beautiful collie x and very affectionate. We're very active and tend to be out walking, hiking, running, and I also enjoy paddle boarding, wild swimming and just generally being outdoors. I also love going out to dinner and having a couple of glasses of wine at the pub, but my partying days are behind me (although never say never 🙃). We're looking for someone similar, who's active and independent but also social and looking for a home. Would be great to find someone who's up for the occasional pub trip, dinner, run together etc.
I work in the charity sector, mostly from home but in the office usually on a Wednesday when Billie goes to daycare.
