Room for rent in St Annes

Hi, I’m looking for a lodger for my spare bedroom. I live in a 2-bedroom house in St. Anne’s.
I’m a 37 year old admin professional working in health care and in my spare time I draw and make art. I’m pretty relaxed and I’m a quiet housemate. I’m not bad at a bit of D. I. Y and so far have been able to sort any problems in the house.
I like being social and this coming year I’m trying to work on my cooking skills, I don’t feel I can
suggest communal dinners just yet but in the future I’m hoping we can occasionally share. I’m
creative, patient, respectful and I’m a good listener.
The house is in a quiet area with plenty of street parking, so if you have a car, you can typically find
parking right in front of the house or just outside the cul-de-sac (I’ve never known there not to be
space). There are local bus links to the town centre, e-bikes and scooters as well as shops, cafes, a
post office, a GP and a pharmacy all within walking distance. It’s also within a short walk to St. Annes
House, which boasts a café, studios, art exhibitions, workshops and a sauna! It’s also around 15 mins
walk away from Church Road, which has lots of Shops and buses and also St. George’s Park. I live
next to the Avon River, providing a nice slice of nature and wildlife. Expect to see herons, shags and kingfishers. Just a stone through away is Nightingale Valley, a beautiful spot for walks and chillin’ in nature.
The house has two bedrooms and you will have access to the common areas of the home, living
room, kitchen and toilets. We have a toilet upstairs including a standing shower and a toilet
downstairs. There is a back garden with seating, and plenty of space for potted plants.
The house is small and it will take someone with maturity and kindness to get along living here. I’d
hoping to create a calm and healing space in this house, a sanctuary from the busy bustle of the city.
