Description
We’re looking for a friendly, respectful professional to join our home in Great Missenden.
You’ll have three connected rooms all to yourself – think of it as your own suite: a bedroom, a walk-in wardrobe/study, and a private lounge.
The house has plenty of shared space too: multiple bathrooms, a large kitchen, comfortable lounge, and a utility room. Once the weather turns nice, we’ll be out enjoying the extensive garden overlooking the valley – it’s a great spot for a morning coffee or an evening drink.
There’s also driveway parking, so no worries about finding a space on the road.
We’re on a quiet residential road, about 5–10 minutes’ walk to the village centre and train station, with quick connections to London and Aylesbury. You’ll also find shops, cafés, the post office, and library close by, plus lovely countryside walks right from the doorstep. If you drive, access to the M40, M25, and M1 is straightforward.
You’ll be sharing with three professionals/self-employed people, aged from late thirties to early sixties – friendly, easy-going, and respectful.
Rent: £775 per month
Bills: approx. £250 (all-in: council tax, utilities, fibre internet, TV licence)
Availability: from 1st March (or earlier by negotiation)
We’re looking for a single professional – sorry, no couples, kids, or pets.
The room is part of a property guardianship scheme, on a rolling monthly contract. It works much like a standard tenancy, though there are a few additional restrictions. You’ll need to provide proof of income, references, and go through a short vetting process – but don’t worry, we’ll walk you through that.
