Description
Hi there! I'm looking for a friendly, clean, respectful professional to buddy-up with in a brand new, furnished, 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom apartment in Park Square, near Milton Keynes Central Station! Move in date will be from 26th October 2024. You don't have to move in on the actual date but rent will be payable from then.
About the apartment:
The furnished, 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom apartment is located in Park Square, Avebury Boulevard, Milton Keynes, MK9 3QF which is a brand new building. It is a 5min drive or 15min walk to MK Central Station. I am unable to provide a link to their website in the ad however if you want to check it out you can google Park Square Milton Keynes for more details.
The rent is £1,755 per month in total, so £877.50 each. Bills are not included however WiFi is included. The only bills we will need to pay is council tax, electricity and water.
In order to meet the criteria to apply, the total household income must be 30x the monthly rent so you as an individual will need to be earning a minimum annual salary of £26,325.
Referencing will be conducted on both of us tenants and for that they will require at least proof of ID, proof of current address and proof of work. Other checks may be required however I am unsure of what they will be.
Please note: I have paid a holding fee of £405 to reserve this apartment. If you are interested in living here, your share of £202.50 will need to be paid to myself. This amount will then be deducted from the first months rent!
The lease is for 12 months with the option to renew.
Council Tax band B or C (Not yet confirmed).
Your room is furnished with basic necessities such as a double ottoman bed with storage underneath, large wardrobe and bedside tables. The main bathroom would be yours as there is an en-suite in my room.
I was only able to take a few photos of the show apartment they had, and please note the TV is not included.
Smart Meter is included and there is a balcony!
The building also offers some amazing amenities such as:
Co-working spaces and pods with WiFi.
Gym.
Residents Lounge.
Private Dining Area.
Rooftop Terrace with BBQ.
Communal Gardens.
On Site Maintenance.
Concierge.
Games Room.
Residents Events.
Bike Storage.
Secure Parcel Storage.
Parking available underneath the building for £150 per month OR you can obtain a permit from the council to park around the building.
About me:
Hi! My name's Delara, I'm 32 and I work in finance where I'm in the office in London twice a month, so I will be mostly wfh (ideally from my bedroom so I wouldn't be in the way much during the day!)
I'm a very sociable person, I can be quite young at heart but also respectful and responsible. I don't want to feel like I'm living with a stranger so I'd appreciate a flatmate who would enjoy the occasional chat, even the odd dinner some evening or to get out of the apartment with every once in a while! I also understand the importance of alone time and privacy, so will of course be respectful of this and I'd hope vice-versa as well.
Regarding guests, I'm sure we would both like to have people over every now and again which is of course fine with good communication between us.
Simply put, I'd just like to live in an environment where we can get on, enjoy spending some time getting to know each other and have a mutual respect. I would also appreciate someone who is clean and tidy, as I'm sure you would.
No couples please.
If this sounds like the home for you and you think we'd be a good fit for buddying up, then please drop me a message with some information about yourself and we can go from there! :)
