Self-Contained Studio Annex, walk to MKC (Mon-Fri)

We are offering a self-contained studio flat Mon-Fri in a detached annex, adjacent to our house in Loughton, Milton Keynes. Built in 2015, the studio comprises a good quality fitted kitchen, bathroom, and open plan living, dining and sleeping area. It comes furnished with a bed and mattress, sofa, coffee table, dining table + 2 chairs, chest of drawers, and we have good WiFi. There is also a wardrobe, wall mounted TV, microwave, small washing machine, a kettle and basic crockery, cutlery, cooking utensils etc. There is a large patio area outside and a good sized garden.

We are looking for a single professional to rent the annex Monday to Friday for a minimum of about 3 months. It tends to appeal most to professionals who work in MK during the week but live elsewhere, are fed up of staying in hotels, and want a base to make a home away from home. Over the years we’ve had five brilliant lodgers, all of whom have been contractors working during the week in MK (but living a long way away), each of which has ended up staying for a year or more.

We are a professional couple. Our house is detached from the 400sq-ft annex, which is self-contained to the rear/side of the property, accessed via a secure lockable side gate and is therefore very private. In case you don't know the area, Loughton is the first residential area to the west of MK's city centre and is a quiet, friendly neighbourhood about a 10 to 15 min walk to MK station. There are two good pubs, a Sainsburys, chemist, several takeaways, post office and other shops within walking distance.
