Located in the Chiltern hills Stokenchurch is a village with a good range of amenities including a Tesco express a popular grocery store, post office, pharmacy and several pubs. Located close to junction 5 on the M40 you have great access to London or Oxford. We are about 8 miles from Thame or in the other direction High Wycombe both have railway stations which take you to London Marylebone or Birmingham. Local bus services are available usually hourly.
The countryside around here is lovely with some great walks from the door.
The house is detached with a good sized garden. Your bedroom has a large wardrobe and bedside cabinet. The double bed has plenty of space underneath for additional storage. There is a TV point and WiFi. You’ll have the family bathroom pretty much to yourself except for the odd visitor who forgets to use my ensuite or the downstairs loo.
Downstairs is the well equipped kitchen with dishwasher and washing machine. There is a living room with wood burner and access to the patio, garden and garage. A tumble dryer is in the garage. Off street parking available for a standard size car.
I have a nervous cat who will stay out of your way but may befriend you overtime. He won’t welcome any additional pets!
I am a professional woman who has taken early retirement to enjoy my garden, travel and spend time with my family. My family live locally and visit at the weekends and I have a granddaughter who may occasionally sleep over.
I am looking for a quiet female lodger who will respect my home. No overnight guests please.
