Homeshare in Milton Keynes

This room is being advertised on behalf of a friendly, kind, independent and sociable lady in her 80s. She is seeking someone to share her home at a low cost in exchange for some light help around the home.

In return for the room at £170 pcm, she would like approximately 10 hours of support each week. Generally tasks would include help with light cleaning (dishes away, sorting rubbish, taking the bins out etc), companionship (watching Tv together and friendly chats ), shopping, and sleeping overnight for at least five nights per week (support is not required overnight, just presence in the home).

The room is a double with an ensuite and is furnished with a chest of drawers, wardrobe and bed. The property is around 5 minutes walk to the high street.

The ideal sharer would be female, 21+, friendly, kind, compassionate and caring..

The householder is very friendly and bubbly. She tries to remain as independent as possible and do as much as she can, so you will be assisting her with some tasks as opposed to doing them for her.

The Householder has a very supportive family and some members are local.

As part of our Homesharing scheme, you will need to have/or apply for a recent DBS check and provide two references. You will also need to complete an application form which you can download from our website. The only fees payable are our monthly fees of £170pcm (so you will only pay £170 per month for your room ).A DBS fee of £35 is required and will be requested once you have passed the initial interview stage.
