Single room in a lovely house off Mill Road

The house is located in a quiet street just off Mill Road, in walking distance from Sainsbury’s, Tesco and Co-op, and only 10 minutes cycling from the city centre. We have washing/drying machine, dishwasher, high-speed WiFi, comfortable sofas and a back garden. Shared living room, dining room, kitchen and bathroom.

The room is a single room, not particularly big but it comes furnished with bed, built-in wardrobe, desk, bedside table and a chest of drawers. It faces the back garden and gets very nice light in the morning. If you need more storage space, we have an additional bookshelf in the dining room that is almost empty and some extra drawers in the living room.

The rent is £500/month. Water is included. Internet (Virgin) £9 each per month. Gas and Electricity (OVO Energy) varies each month according to how much we use (approx £50 each per month, maybe a bit more during very cold months but definitely less in spring/summer).

The room would be available from January but the moving in date is flexible, according to your needs.

Something about us: we are Alessia and Tommaso (31 and 28 years old), both Italian and both PhD students in Literature. We like to keep the house clean and nice, and to treat it like a proper home, so we’re looking for a housemate who will take care of this place like we do. We love to cook, to eat, to go out, to drink beers, to see friends, to do sports, to complain about English weather and to take care of house plants. We like to do things together, inside and outside the house, but also to spend time on our own at the end of some busy days. We have already been living together for two years and we are friends, not just housemates. It would be great to share the house with someone who will help us keep this friendly, homey vibe!
