We're looking for a new housemate to take over a double room in our 3-bedroom house on a quiet residential street just off Hills Road.
The location is hard to beat: it's just a 7–10 minute walk to Cambridge train station and around 15 minutes on foot to the city centre. There are plenty of local amenities nearby, including shops just around the corner, three fantastic bakeries within a 5-minute walk, as well as cafés, restaurants, pubs, cinemas, and gyms. If you enjoy spending time outdoors, you'll also find several green spaces and the Cambridge University Botanic Garden close by.
The room is officially unfurnished, but the current tenant is happy to leave behind a double bed and desk, if you'd like them.
Other than the room, the house includes the following shared spaces:
-Two large bathrooms
-A well-equipped kitchen
-A small garden/patio
The property is in Council Tax Band D. Monthly bills (water, gas, electricity, Wi-Fi, and council tax) are typically around £120–£160 per person, depending on usage.
We're a friendly and considerate household who enjoy the occasional shared meal or chat, while also respecting each other's space and independence. We're looking for someone who'd enjoy a similar balance.
