The apartment

The room & flexible room arrangement

The available bedroom is a comfortable double room within the apartment.

There is also an option that I’m open to discussing with the right person. My current bedroom has its own private en-suite bathroom as well as access to the apartment’s private balcony.

Depending on the tenant, rental arrangement and overall package agreed, I would be open to swapping bedrooms, allowing the tenant to have the larger/premium room with the private en-suite and balcony.

This isn’t something I’m necessarily looking to offer as standard, but I’m very open to having a conversation about it if it’s important to you and we can agree an arrangement that works well for both of us.

About me & the living arrangement

I’m the owner of the apartment and live here myself, so this is a live-in landlord/lodger arrangement rather than a conventional house share.

My previous long-term tenant has recently moved out, so I’m looking for someone who would enjoy living in the apartment and make it their home.

I’m 27 and work full-time, so during the week I have a fairly normal working routine. I’m looking for someone who is clean, respectful, easy-going and considerate, but I’m not looking for a completely silent house where everyone keeps to themselves.

I have a girlfriend who will obviously be around from time to time, but I want the flat to have a nice, social and relaxed atmosphere, while still giving both people their own space and privacy.

I’m very happy to have the occasional drink, watch something together, grab some food or have a chat after work, but equally appreciate that everyone has their own life and routine.

Ultimately, I’m looking for a well-balanced living environment where we can get along, be sociable when we want to be, and respect each other’s space when we don’t.

Bills & flexibility

Bills are included in the monthly rent, making the arrangement straightforward with no need to worry about setting up separate utilities.

I’m also flexible regarding move-in dates, length of stay and certain aspects of the rental arrangement. I’m keen to find the right person rather than simply fill the room, so I’m happy to have an open conversation about what works for both of us.
