Double room in a Victorian house next to mill road

Hi :)

I am looking for 1 housemate in their 30s either short or long-term housemate (min 3 months / max three years) for my house share in Petersfield. No animals, ideally plant lover, early/mid/late 30s.

The location is fantastic: 5 min walk to ARU, 5 min to Mill Road, 3 min to the Beehive, 10 min to the train station, 15 min to the Grafton Centre.

**If you are into bog-standard, nondescript, short-term rentals this place is not for you.**

The house is in good condition with living room wooden flooring, a small but cosy kitchen and one shared bathroom. The shared living room combines a hang out and dining area with a table for six people and comfy couch. The bathroom is a spacious with both bath and a shower combined. You will have a small chest of drawers for yourself. Council tax band C.

You will be living in a garden-facing room. It is furnished with a desk, lots of shelves, wardrobe, and a double bed with a mattress. It's on the first floor looking at 30m of nature with trees, bushes, and flowers.

I am looking for someone responsible, friendly, clean, straightforward and discrete who is up for some joint dinners, BBQ and coffees on the terrace and sometimes friends in the house, but who also respects other people's privacy and time to themselves. You would know how to keep common spaces tidy, communication open and are not opposed to a cleaning rota. It's also important that you are not just looking for a place to crash but a place to call home. Other than that, it would be great if you didn’t need to work at home as I will be.
