Description

Small (approx 6’ 10” x 10’) first floor room at the back of the property. I have described it as a single room but I have fit a double bed in here, it’s just tight. Please note the room is part furnished - large wardrobe included, can also leave the bed if required. Lovely house with nice common areas including a living room and sunny conservatory. There is shared storage spaces throughout the house and an outbuilding in the garden ideal for keeping bikes and gardening equipment etc. Main bathroom upstairs with an additional toilet and sink under the stairs. There is a large cooker and shared storage space in the kitchen - we have a shelf each in the fridge, and several shelves and cupboards allocated to each tenant.
The house is in a nice area on Perne rd, located within waking distance of Addenbrookes and Mill Road, there is also a bus stop for the number 2 right outside. Closest supermarkets - small Co op 1 min walk, Sainsbury’s superstore 5-10 min walk.

We are looking for a female housemate - men please do not enquire as I will not respond.

This is the kind of shared house where you can expect to see your housemates a lot, everyone is very friendly and welcoming and we do like to chat to each other and hang out sometimes. There’s a wide range of hobbies in the house - cooking, running, crafts etc and we all have some stuff in common.

House ‘rules’;
Overnight guests are allowed - if it’s for longer than a few nights we tend to let eachother know in advance.
Use of shared common space - generally we let eachother know if we are planning to have people over for a dinner party, games night etc and will be using one of the shared living spaces to host.
Cleaning - everyone pitches in, we take turns buying cleaning and household supplies.
Bills - rent is transferred to the landlady’s account, other bills are kindly handled by one of the tenants who lets us know how much and when to pay via the group chat. It’s important to transfer this on time.

Generally everyone is respectful of others privacy and to not be disruptive to anyone else. No excessive noise or rowdiness, and keep the common areas tidy and nice.
We would like someone who is friendly, respectful and tidy, and that can get along with everyone. This isn’t one of those shared houses where everyone ignores each other and hides in their rooms - we really do enjoy each others company and would like the next tenant to fit this vibe.
No undergraduates please
When you enquire please include your age, occupation, and a bit about yourself (hobbies, where you’re from etc).
We will be available for viewings on the evenings of Tuesday 18th and Friday 21st June.
Room is available from June 30th (you would need to take responsibility for the rent from this date).

Please note - I will not be responding to messages on Sunday 16th as I am graduating - I will get back to everyone who messages after today as soon as I can on Monday.
