Hi everyone!
I'm looking for a replacement for my housemate who's moving out at the beginning of August.
About the flat:
The flat is located on Regent's terrace, with a large living and dining room overlooking Parker's piece and Hills Road. The flat is super well placed to get into the centre or south to science campuses south of Cambridge (as well as being super close to bars, restaurants, train station, etc).
The room itself is an ensuite (shower), with inbuilt cupboards as well as a bed, set of shelves, and bedside table.
The kitchen was also recently refitted with a new washer-dryer and dishwasher, and I've also got a self-cleaning robot mop and hoover. Which all helps with the housework :)
There are stairs and an elevator up to the flat, as well as a basement which has bike storage and some additional storage in lockers. There are also cupboards in the hallway which should allow for some additional storage.
the flat is fully electric (stove, heating) and the electricity bill is usually a direct debit of ~200 a month, wifi is around 30, and council tax is band c (around 200 total), these bills are of course divided between us :).
About you:
I'm looking for another professional who's tidy and respectful (preferably male) and preferably not WFH. I enjoy making the house feel like a home and hope to find someone who also shares that sentiment, and is also down for chilling or an adventure. :)
There are tenancy checks that are required by the letting agency, which will include a full-time employment check, sufficient salary, and if from overseas, some immigration checks.
About me:
I'm a 26 Half-English, Half-Scottish bioinformatician. I spend a fair bit of my free time at the gym and love powerlifting. I'm also a classical Cellist and a big fan of cinema, board games and the outdoors. I grew up overseas and have been in Cambridge for about 2 years.
