Description
Hello hello hello!
We are a house of 3 looking for someone to move in into a lovely (massive) double room on Mill Road.
The bedroom is the most spacious of the house, it gets a lot of indirect sunlight and lets easily air go through in the summer. It comes with a desk as well an arguably pretty nice bed and mattress. It’s on the first floor, has two windows that open, wooden flooring and alcoves that could be fit with shelves if you’re crafty.
The rest of the house is quite big too: we share one bathroom as well as a large kitchen that opens onto dining area and a living room that gives onto a gorgeous garden. There is ample storage as well as room for new furniture if you have nice additions for the house. We are equipped with a ton of stuff, washer, air frier, rice cooker, you name it we have it !
We dug a lovely little pond in the garden that is currently blooming and full of wildflowers, it’s the perfect spot for a nice read when the weather is nice. We also have a lot of bike storage space if you cycle.
Now that you know a bit more about the house let us tell you about us, we are lovely bunch who have been living together for about 9 months now. Marianne and Rhiane are both 25 women in STEM, contributing to mankind’s development through science and research (i. e. they’re both scientists and I don’t get what they do). As for me, I am working as a town planner for the council, fighting tirelessly against poor brick quality and lacking birds and bat boxes on new buildings! We all have our own hobbies and lives but enjoy spending some time together whether it’s to lose a pub quizz together, to play some silly game or to go out and enjoy Cambridge notorious night scene. Whilst we enjoy each others company we are also happy to respect each others boundaries and keep to ourselves when people are busy/tired.
As for you, we’re hoping you’re a young professional (if you’re a student you’d have to pay council tax sorry), who’s happy to socialize yet not a party animal. That you’re open to trying new things, especially board and video games. That you don’t mind keeping things tidy and if you have a car please mention it, that’s definitely a plus! Also please don’t mind gay people, there are some amongst us.
