Cosy double near centre in sociable house :)

Hi all,
We're in search of a new housemate as one of our current members moves back to Italy. Ciao Francesca :(

The double room came unfurnished, but the outgoing tennant is selling her double bed, mattress, desk, chest of drawers, beside table, clothes rail, shelves, mini heater, mirrors, duvet, and pillows for £100 (we're admittedly only after people who are willing to buy these off her as it would be difficult to shift these otherwise! Plus you can always sell these one once you move out). There's loads of space for a WFH set up, amongst other items. The room is on the first floor, garden facing, and is unaffected by traffic noise.

The house is directly opposite the hill colleges, and is close to central Cambridge. There is a bus stop right outside, and we’re a ~15 minute bike ride from either the train station or science park. Resident parking permits can be bought for £75.

The house is well built, with loads of character (i. e not a shoddy new build). It has a sizable living room, with a monitor for films/series. Our kitchen is spacious and well-stocked, complete with a washing machine, dishwasher, gas hobs, and more. You'll even have your own designated shelf in our massive fridge! Additionally, we have a large garden where we hold barbecues and have gardening sessions.

The current tenants are Don, Alexia, and Grace - a biochemist, maths student, and crop scientist, respectively. We have a range of interests, including rowing, running, reading, gym sessions, attending gigs, playing guitars, and watching films. When our schedules allow, we’ll hang out together, and often chat rubbish around the kitchen table, perhaps with a glass of wine/tap water. We often have house dinners, either planned or improptu! However, we also respect the need for time by ourselves.

The contract would start on the 1st of September. Rent is £2050** total (£512.50 per person). We estimate bills and council tax to come to £150 per person. Deposit is £675. The contract is for minimum 6 months, so we’d like to find somebody we could really get along with. We're after somebody around the same age as us.
