These are 2 single rooms in a 5-bed furnished house on Argyle Street available for postgraduate students.

Room 1 - Available from 1 September (£408/month for the first month, £458/month from 1 October onwards)

The room is on the ground floor close to a shared bathroom and is fully furnished with bed, mattress & topper, bedside table, closet, desk, bookshelf, chest of drawers and mirror.

Room 2 - Available from 1 October (£408/month)

The room is on the first floor close next to a shared bathroom and is fully furnished with bed, mattress & topper, built-in closet, chest of drawers, desk, shelves and mirror.

The House

There is a spacious kitchen with an oven, hob, microwave, kettle, and two fridges, and it is furnished with any dishes/utensils you might need. The kitchen opens to a large dining room/living room that looks out into a wonderful garden. There is also a utility room furnished with washer, dryer, and many other household essentials for you to use and several storage closets upstairs.

The house is located at the end of a shared driveway away from the main street for extra privacy, and there is an available parking spot and garage.

Argyle Street is a quiet residential street just off of Mill Road, providing easy access to lots of shops and restaurants! It is just a 10-minute walk to Cambridge station and a 15-minute walk to the city centre. Bus stops are nearby and cyclists will find it easy to commute to Addenbrooke’s, West Cambridge, Sidgwick Site, and other places around Cambridge.

Rent includes ultra fast broadband internet (WiFi), but electricity, gas and water are not included. Electricity and gas combined are around £50 per person per month in autumn and winter and around £30-£40 per person per month in spring and summer. Water is around £30 per person every 6 months. These may fluctuate. There is a cleaning rota for shared spaces

The current tenants are 3 postgraduate students who are renewing their leases for the next year and are keen to meet their new roommate! The house is very friendly and we’ve worked hard to make it our home in Cambridge, and we hope you’ll join us!
