My incredibly lovely housemate who I've lived with for 2 years is moving abroad and I'm looking for a female housemate to join me in a gorgeous two bedroom house from the 5th October (we can be flexible in case you need to move in earlier).

Details about the house: it is a large 2 bed terraced house (off Mill road) with a study (that I use) and an attic room that we currently use as a spare room for friends visiting or can also be used as a study. We have a lovely back garden as well as a roof top terrace which is quite unique and rare for Cambridge terraced properties!
Your double room will be fully furnished (bed, bedside table, wardrobe), you will have your own bathroom (not ensuite) and the rent is £850pcm with bills (water, gas, WiFi and council tax) extra that come up to approximately £100 per month (lesser in summer). Students wont have to pay council tax. Happy to share my kitchen utensils etc with you. Plenty of storage space in the room as well as in the attic. The house is a 10 min walk from the station and is ideally located for anyone working in Addenbrookes or at the University. It will be perfectly suited for a mature student or professional looking for a short term house contract in Cambridge.
The contract will be for 6 months to begin with and there is an opportunity to renew it after that on a rolling or fixed term basis. As this property is managed by an estate agent, you will need to pass reference checks meeting an income threshold or have a guarantor. You will need to pay a £50 agents fee to take on the contract.
About me: I am a 34yr old female consultant and I enjoy gardening, cooking and socializing, but deeply value my own space. I'm looking for someone like minded, who will keep the house tidy and contribute to making it feel like a happy space to come back to at the end of a long day.
