Large Double with En-Suite in friendly House share

Hi, we are looking for a new housemate to replace one leaving at the end of October.

The House:

The house is a spacious, four-bedroom terrace with a large communal kitchen and living room and nice carpets throughout.

The room is a large double with en-suite. Partially furnished as the bed comes with the house and there’s a large built-in wardrobe with plenty of storage.

We have a nice setup in the garden, with chairs and lights to sit out in the summer. With lots of plants grown by one of the housemates (Sam). There’s also secure bike storage in a locked shed which was brand new this year.

There’s plenty of space to park on the road out the front of the property but there’s also offroad parking behind the property.

It is very good value for money compared to similar properties as the landlord is keen to keep hold of tenants she trusts to look after the house. She is very friendly, responsive and encourages us to let us know if anything needs doing in the house.

The Bills are not included in the rent and these usually come to around 150 pcm.

The whole house is rented together (rather than just rooms) so we are keen to meet and get to know the new person before they move in as we are all jointly responsible for the rent. This is a bit nicer than most arrangements as we are free to choose who we want to live with when someone leaves, and this results in more of a home atmosphere.

About Us:

We are looking for someone who wants a home and not just a room. That’s friendly and up for a chat and getting involved with BBQ’s etc, but also respectful of the shared space and helps keeps the house clean and tidy.
