Hi everyone 👋 I have a spacious King room with an en-suite bathroom available for single-occupancy please.
You have a brand new, King-sized bed with 4 drawers -and a brand new mattresses, new curtains and a new dining room table/chairs which should all arrive before you move in.
I have also ordered a set of sofas and 2 large wardrobes with mirrors for each en-suite bedroom which will take a little longer to arrive (by Jan/Feb most likely). I can get something temporary short term but if you have one to bring with you then let me know.
🏡 This is a 4-Bedroom townhouse, with 4 bathrooms and a small garden. Only two of the en-suite bedrooms (both on the first floor) will be available for rent so there won't be more than 3 people living in the house at any one time (including myself).
📍 Located in a safe residential area east of Cambridge city centre (~4 miles) consisting of high-specification new homes and public green spaces in a quiet neighbourhood.
🚏 Bus stop is a few steps away from the house and goes directly to the railway station and Cambridge city centre. It typically runs every 15mins throughout the day.
🚗 There are 2 available spaces for parking cars outside the house and an EV charging dock.
🚇 12min drive to Cambridge Train Station.
🛒 5min walk to the local off-license or a 3 min drive to Tesco Supermarket.
🚲 If you cycle to work it’s ~8 mins to Arm, 12 mins to Addenbrooke’s and 18 mins to AstraZeneca.
The house itself is beautifully presented with hardwood flooring downstairs & underfloor heating, soft carpet on the stairs and in the bedrooms, and a cute back garden (summer BBQs pending!) with plants, trees and outdoor furniture.

- council tax band E (~£220/month)

💵 Bills charged separately and NOT included:
- water, electricity and heating (estimated £200/month). This will be a variable, shared cost between all 3 of us and depending on our usage may be lower/higher. Happy to discuss more in-person.
Bedroom 1 and Bedroom 2 are both en-suites. Bedroom 1 is larger and gets more light (large floor to ceiling windows) with a cute little balcony.
Please note, the initial length of tenancy is 3-months, extended to 1-2 years if we all get along or even longer for the right person(s). This will be my home as well and I would like it to be a nice environment for us to live in.

I am looking for responsible, clean, tidy and professional people preferably. I sometimes WFH but other times in the lab/office or attending meetings. I’m very social and I would like to have lodgers I get along well with, but equally wouldn’t mind if we did our own thing - as long as the home is kept clean and we are respectful to each other at all times. Sorry but no couples, children, pets and no smoking.
Please note, I may consider an earlier move-in date and lower monthly charges under the right circumstances, but happy to discuss further after an initial conversation.
