---About the Property---

The property is a three bed semi-detached home, with a cosy shared living space, fully-equipped kitchen with dishwasher, an attached shed and a spacious back garden, along with a utility room containing a washer and dryer. There is additionally a spare room with a long table (ideal for board game nights!) and plenty of storage space.

The bedrooms themselves consist of two small rooms sharing a bathroom with bath and shower, and one large en suite. All rooms are equipped with double beds, desks, and hanging space. We are open to discussion as to who will end up where in the final arrangement - if you have a preference, please let us know!

The property is within a 20 minute cycle or 40 minute walk of the city centre, with regular buses into town every 10-20 minutes. The property also has convenient access to local shops such as Budgens, Tesco Extra, and various international supermarkets on Histon Road, along with local amenities such as Meadows Community Centre, Cafe Camtown, Stir Bakery and quality pubs such as The Haymakers and Thirsty.

There is currently parking available on the driveway, with quick access to the A1, A14 and M11 via the nearby interchange.

The property is in Council Tax Band D.

---About Us---

Ashley (22, she/her) and I (26, he/him) are two young professionals currently working in Cambridge as a science technician and structural design engineer, respectively. We have known each other for four years and been living together for one year – we’ve found we get on quite well, and are able to keep well on top of household tasks and maintenance together. We are currently looking for someone to join us on the lease in place of our current third housemate, who will be leaving the property in the New Year.

The two of us are both personable and friendly, and we both have active social lives online and offline, with some slack in our schedules for casual hang-outs – we’re often available for movie and pub nights if you’re looking for company, but equally we’re happy to keep to ourselves if and when you’d prefer to keep to your own space. We currently have a shared rota for cooking which a prospective housemate would be welcome to opt into or out of as they prefer, and we have a chore rota to make sure the house is kept nice and tidy for everyone.

In terms of our more specific hobbies, Ashley tends to spend her time listening to music, progressing crafts projects, practising archery and playing video games, along with some reading, whereas personally I spend a good chunk of time cooking, writing for and running tabletop games, reading, practising HEMA, brewing beer and motorcycle touring.

Our intent is to set up an equitable house share rather than it feeling like a weird sublet where we force a tenant to tick our boxes. As such, we’re very open to meeting for coffee or a quick drink somewhere to talk about expectations, get acquainted and make sure everyone’s comfortable.
