Note: I will likely be away from August 27th for a while, meaning you will likely have the entire flat to yourself during this period. Looking for someone trustworthy. This is an ideal setup for visiting professionals, postgrads, or anyone needing a quiet base in Cambridge.

📍 Location:

3 mins by bike (10 mins walk) from Cambridge North station.

15 mins by bike to the city centre and colleges.

Quiet, professional building with excellent links to the Science Parks.

2-minute walk to the river and fens. Tesco and local amenities are just around the corner.

🛏 The Room & Flat:

The Room: Bright single bedroom with a desk and leafy view. (Note: Possibility to discuss switching you to the double room depending on your dates while I am away).

Outdoor Space: Access to a private, leafy, flower-filled balcony that catches the sun—perfect for working outside or relaxing.

Kitchen: Fully equipped shared kitchen/dining space (dishwasher, microwave, oven, baking gear). You are very welcome to use all the cooking equipment and pantry staples and spices.

Living Space: Separate living room with a double sofa bed.

Bathroom: Modern bathroom with both bath and instant hot water shower.

✅ All-Inclusive Amenities:

Bills: All bills covered (gas, electricity, water, council tax, high-speed Wi-Fi, service charge, TV subs).

WFH Ready: Can provide a second PC monitor if you work from home.

Transport: Secure, code-access bike storage and parking available. I also have a spare bike (with helmet, lock, and lights) that might be available to borrow.

Laundry: Washing machine, tumble dryer, and drying rack in the flat, plus access to a laundrette code in town.

Short-Stay Essentials: Bedding, towels, and basic toiletries can be provided if you are arriving from afar.

Extras: Optional access to a private local gym & pool from October can be discussed as part of my membership. Always happy to find a swim buddy.

🙋‍♀️ About Me:
I’m a female, an English/French-speaking postgrad researcher at Cambridge. I love nature, travel, and swimming. Because I am away frequently over the summer, I am looking for a solo flatmate who is trustworthy, calm, clean, and considerate to look after the space. I can gladly arrange a WhatsApp call.

The building has a quiet policy from 11 PM, making it a very peaceful environment, especially if you work from home. Max occupancy for the flat is two people (including myself).

Having been studying in Cambridge for over 10 years, I’m always happy to offer local tips, orientation, or society recommendations if you’re new to town. My college also has a punt (boat) on the river, and I'd be happy to arrange a trip to Grantchester if we cross paths ☀️
