15 mins by bike to the city centre and colleges. Bike available to borrow.

Quiet, professional building with excellent links to the Science Parks.

2-minute walk to the river and fens. Tesco, restaurants and local amenities 5 min walk around the corner.

🛏 The Room & Flat:

The Room: Bright single bedroom with a desk and leafy view.

Outdoor Space: Access to a private, leafy, flower-filled balcony that catches the sun—perfect for working outside or relaxing.

Kitchen: Fully equipped shared kitchen/dining space (dishwasher, microwave, oven, baking gear). You are very welcome to use all the cooking equipment and pantry staples and spices.

Living Space: Separate living room with large sofa.

Bathroom: Modern bathroom with both a bathtub and shower.

✅ All-Inclusive Amenities:

Bills: All bills covered (gas, electricity, water, council tax, high-speed Wi-Fi, building service charge, TV subs).

WFH Ready: Can potentially provide a second PC monitor if you work from home.

Transport: Secure, code-access bike storage and parking available. I have a spare bike (with helmet, lock, and lights) that might be available to borrow.

Laundry: Washing machine, tumble dryer, and drying rack in the flat.

Short-Stay Essentials: Bedding, towels, and basic toiletries can be provided if you are arriving from afar.

Extras: Can potentially provide shared access to my local gym & swimming pool as part of my upcoming sports membership, always happy to find a swim buddy (the pool is private/non-public and no lifeguard so mutually beneficial, as needs minimum of 2 swimmers; takes me 10 mins to get there from the flat).

I’m a female, non-smoking, English/French-speaking postgraduate researcher at the University of Cambridge. I love nature, travel, gym and swimming. Open as and when to sharing the space with someone trustworthy, calm, clean, and considerate. Available for WhatsApp video call and in-person visits. (Video upload is pre-renovation, away from home at the minute, photos illustrate recent kitchen, balcony and garden renovation).

The building has a quiet policy from 11 PM, making it a very peaceful environment, especially if you work from home like myself.

Having been studying at the University of Cambridge for over 10 years, I’m always happy to offer local tips, orientation, or recommendations if you’re new to town, including sharing access to a punt (boat) on the river moored at Darwin College and access to University of Cambridge colleges☀️
