Description
Hello!
One of our lovely housemates is moving out in Jan so we are looking for someone new to join our home.
It's a good sized double, with a south facing window that looks out onto the garden so gets plenty of light and has a pleasant view. It comes with the double bed and the grey and white drawer set and has an inbuilt shelf in one corner but the current flatmate is happy to sell the desk and wardrobe if those were wanted as well.
The house has a communal living space with open plan sitting-room / dining area and separate kitchen. We have a nice little garden space, with a few raised beds for veggie growing attempts, a small pond with a few resident frogs and a shed at the end of the garden where we put bikes and odds and ends. There is an upstairs bathroom with a shower over the bath, toilet and cupboard space.
It is located in a nice, quiet residential area not far from Mill Road and a short cut through to the Beehive centre which is handy for late night chocolate craving run to Asda. And a handful of nice pubs on almost every corner. There is free parking on the street and surrounding streets, no dedicated space for the house but I've always been able to find a spot even if not directly on our road - all just depends on the time of day!
The room is available for 5 months, our tenancy comes to an end June 25th 2025 as our landlady is moving back into the property so we're looking for someone who wants to take the space for the full 5 months. The move in date is 25th of January but if you need to move in a week or so sooner then we should be able to accommodate that.
We're a mix of students and non-students so either are welcome. The rent is £590 + bills, everyone splits bills equally (water, electric, council tax, internet etc.) they average £100-130 pcm. We enjoy the odd evening together over some food, or trip to the cinema but also happy going on with our own worlds so don't live in one another's pockets.
If you'd like to join our little household, please send a message with a bit about yourself, your hobbies, what you like in housemates etc. and your ideal move in dates / length and we'll get in touch about viewings if you sound like a good fit :)
