Description
Photos coming soon!
We are two women in our 20s (one professional working in Cambridge, and one PhD student) looking for a third housemate (ideally young professional or graduate student) to join us in our lovely 3 bed house close to the town centre. It's a <10 minute cycle or a 20 minute walk from King's Parade, with good connections to city bus routes.
The room which will be vacant is away from the road with lots of natural light in the morning, has recently had new carpets put in, and has plenty of in-built storage. We can also be flexible with shuffling about room arrangements, as they all have their own advantages!
The room is unfurnished, but the communal spaces have everything you'd need, including a comfy sofa bed (great for when friends visit!). We love making the house comfortable so if you do have any extra furniture we can definitely make room for it.
Normally works out around £815 pcm with rent, bills, council tax (band D), broadband and tenants' contents insurance.
We enjoy cooking vegetarian food (Eden is an Ottolenghi disciple), occasional trips out for a pub quiz, comedy night or evensong, crafts (Ina is an avid knitter) and cosy nights in.
The house has a bike shed with padlock, on-street parking (with a council permit), and spacious walled garden with plenty of flowerbeds to be filled for any keen gardeners! Indoors we have lots of high ceilings, 19th century period features, and open shelving for all of your plants and books.
We have a good relationship with our letting agent, and the landlord is generally pretty responsive about maintenance issues.
If this sounds like a good fit, we'd love to hear from you - please message us and we can chat about options and logistics!
