Hello! We're looking for a friendly and respectful person to join our cozy, LGBTQ+ friendly home on Hills Road, Cambridge. You’ll be sharing with three housemates—a mix of PhD students and working professionals. The vibe is chill and mostly quiet.

🐱 One of the housemates has an indoor cat who occasionally roams the shared spaces. She’s a sweet and quiet lady who mostly keeps to herself but enjoys the occasional attention. We’re looking for someone comfortable living with a feline friend.

🏠 About the Room
Available from August 1st.

A bright and spacious room located on the ground floor. The room receives plenty of afternoon sunlight through a large window. The window is double-glazed, so the room is quiet when it's closed. It has a wooden floor, giving a charming and warm vibe. This is the largest room in the house, so you have plenty of space for storage.

Furnished with a double bed, a bedside table, two wardrobes, a shelf, and a study desk.

The room is for single occupancy only. Occasional overnight guests (your partner or a friend) are welcomed, but we ask that you cordially notify us in the group chat in advance. Subletting or Airbnb is not permitted without further discussions with the landlady.

💸 The Rent
Rent is paid on the 1st of each month. The advertised amount includes the rent and all utilities: gas, water, electricity, and high-speed internet. It also includes the council tax.

A £625 deposit is required.

The tenancy is a 12-month contract, with with a 6 month break clause and the possibility of renewal. Renewal is subject to discussion and mutual agreement with the landlady and current housemates.

🏡 The House
A charming 4-bedroom, 3-storey Victorian home with modern furnishings and a peaceful atmosphere.

There are two showers and three toilets in total. You’ll share the basement bathroom with another housemate. There is another bathroom upstairs with a modern shower, which you can also use. All sinks have hot water.

Shared spaces include a fully equipped kitchen, cozy living room, and a spacious back garden.

You’ll have your own cupboard in the kitchen and shelves in the fridge and freezer for food and essentials.
