Hi!
My current flatmate is moving out at the start of August but my landlord has agreed that they’re happy for me to find someone else to put on the tenancy of this beautiful flat at The Belvedere.
The flat is located in central Cambridge, very close to the station. It’s about a 10 minute walk to the station, a 5 minute cycle to Addenbrookes and a 5-10 minute cycle into the town centre.
The flat comprises of:
- a spacious, shared, open plan living/dining/kitchen area, with an attached balcony
- a shared bathroom with shower/bath
- 2 double bedrooms, each with built in wardrobes. The larger bedroom has an en suite with shower
The flat is also part of the Belvedere complex which includes:
- gated private parking (currently I believe there is only 1 parking space associated with the flat which I use, but it may be that this can be negotiated with the landlord)
- free visitors parking
- a foyer with porters for security and who can collect mail
- indoor locked bicycle storage
- a gym
- a swimming pool area with a steam room

There are 2 options for the room, either of which I’m happy with depending on your budget:
1) you could take the smaller double bedroom room without the en suite for £850/month, and I take the larger one
2) you could take the larger double bed room with the en suite for £1000/month, and I take the smaller one
A little bit about me:
I’m 28 and I work as a doctor at Addenbrookes hospital (aspiring/hopefully soon to be neurologist). I like to keep the place clean. I’m looking for another young professional, ideally male, flatmate. I’m friendly and sociable and so I’d love for us to hang out and become good friends, and I’m more than happy for us to use the flat for social gatherings. I’m big into the gym, video games, going out and generally being a bit of a nerd.
**IMPORTANT DISCLAIMER**
This flat comes partially furnished. Essentially most/all of the furnitures in the shared spaces will be provided because I own it. And anything my flatmate takes with her I’ll replace.
However, the bedroom itself will not be furnished as currently that’s all my flatmate’s furniture.
Other things which I can provide but will
shared include:
- flatscreen TV
- PS5
- electric piano
- coffee machine set up
Other expenses:
- Council tax: £123/month
- Residency scheme (optional: to use the gym/pool etc): £35/month
- Bills + WiFi: ~£60/month
