Bright double room available in a two-bedroom house in Cambridge. Rent is £850 (excluding bills) for one person or £1,100 for couples, but I’m happy to discuss a lower rate if you’re looking for a Monday–Thursday/Friday arrangement. The room is available for one person or a couple.

I’m a young professional and often away 3–5 days a week, so you’ll have the house to yourself a lot of the time; perfect if you like a mix of independence and occasional company.

About the house:

- Two bedrooms and one bathroom upstairs
- Kitchen, separate living room, and an extra bathroom downstairs
- Your room: spacious, with a double bed, double wardrobe, and chest of drawers (coming soon if required)
- Small, well-designed garden with two outdoor seating areas
- Shed and private alley for bike storage
- One private parking space, plus on-street parking available

Location perks:

- Shops, supermarkets, and a gym within walking distance
- Easy access to the A14 for commuting
- 45 min walk / 15 min cycle to King’s Parade & the city centre
- 15 min drive to Cambridge North & Cambridge stations

Looking for:

- Friendly, outgoing, and keen to get involved in Cambridge life (if renting 7 days a week)
- No problem if you smoke or vape
- Preferably no alcohol in the house while I’m there – or kept in the spare room
