Description
I'm looking for someone to take over the double room I've had for several years in a lovely 3-bed shared house.
The room is south facing, and right at the top of the house, so keeps warm in the winter in direct sun and has a lovely view out of the three very large windows. I am leaving the double bed behind, and the room has a built-in wardrobe, but other than that furniture will be needed. It's a really lovely, spacious room that I have loved - I've worked from home and fit quite a large desk as well as a good few other bits of furniture in as well.
Kitchen and living room are both shared with housemates, but the room comes with it's own small-medium sized ensuite with a great shower.
Current housemates are one man and one women, both PhD students now. Both are kind, chatty and respectful people. We tend to watch TV or occasionally have dinner together when we're all in, but equally spend a lot of time doing our own thing. Cleaning is split between us for shared spaces, and we all pitch in to do our bit.
We are ideally looking for another male or female professional with a similar lifestyle, preferably without a car. No couples or pets please!
Bills are managed and paid directly to one account each month, which works out to £150 each per month (gas, water, electric, WiFi, council tax). We keep this consistent throughout the year, so we have money in the account to carry over into the winter. On top of rent, the room is therefore £1,010 per month. As a whole, the house is council tax band D.
The house is in a really great location: 15 minutes walk to Mill Road, 10 mins walk in the other direction for the Beehive Centre & large supermarkets (ASDA, Sainsbury's, Tesco, Aldi, Lidl), and maybe 20-30 min walk away from the main train station.
If you're interested, send me a message with a little bit about you and we can go from there!
