I have one room available in my 2-bed flat about 1 mile north of the city centre (10 mins by bike). This spacious double-sized room contains a single bed and is for single occupancy. The flat is in a quiet, purpose-built block containing 12 flats.
For me it is a second home and I am only there for about one month every three months. So for two-thirds of the time you would also have the living-room, kitchen and bathroom entirely to yourself.
I'm a quiet, easy-going, older but young-at-heart guy. I play several musical instruments. There is a piano in the living-room, which you're welcome to use. I'm straight myself, but am LGBT-friendly.
There is a pleasant communal garden, and there is off-street parking (a limited number of spaces, not reserved).
The rent of £775 includes council tax, utilities, and mobile internet (which I find perfectly adequate, but could easily be upgraded if desired).
