Single room off Mill Road

We have a single room available from the start of January in our 3 bed house off Mill Road in Cambridge.

The house is lovely, clean and well looked after by the three current housemates. Two of us, one female and one male from Greece and Italy, are working towards finishing our PhD; the third member of our household, who currently works at Anglia Ruskin, will unfortunately move out soon for work.

The bedroom is a furnished single room facing the backyard, provided with a desk, wardrobes, nightstand, and a double bed. Since it is a single room, it would be ideal for someone not working from home. The two-storey house has a large dining room, a living room, a kitchen with all the appliances and a bathroom with a shower tub. The garden is large, with plenty of room for a bike and a shed. There is free on-street parking. The letting agency are very responsive to any issues we have encountered in the past. The neighbourhood is great, a short cycle to colleges/city centre and a few steps from many nice coffee shops along Mill Road.

We are all considerate, friendly and get along well. Being PhD students/professionals, we understand the work demands and pressures, therefore try and keep the house calm and quiet to be a great place to study or relax after work. We all have different schedules and patterns of work, so the room would suit someone who is independent, although we will go out for a beer when we can cross paths!

We share the cleaning of the house, and bills are split equally. We will accept both a postgraduate student or a working professional, and we will equally share the council tax (band D).
