Large Double Room in Cambridge, Quiet Location.

I’m a professional who works from home, and I also study Sociology at Anglia Ruskin University two days a week.

I have a large double room available, and I’m looking for a friendly and respectful female to share my home with.

The rent is £650 per calendar month and includes all bills and WiFi. No deposit is required. I simply ask that the first month’s rent be paid up front when you move in, with rent then paid monthly in advance.

The room is freshly decorated, and furnished with a double bed, new bed linen, wardrobe, chest of drawers, desk, lamp, brand new 32" smart TV with subscriptions included (Amazon, Netflix, Disney and Paramount, etc).

The house is peaceful and set back from the main road in a quiet area, so there is very little noise and no through traffic.

The kitchen and bathroom are shared and include all appliances, including a fridge and freezer, your own cupboard space, dishwasher, washing machine, gas cooker, coffee machine, Ninja air fryer, and all pots, pans, plates, and cutlery. There is also a downstairs toilet for extra convenience.

I always have plenty of clothing detergent, fabric softener and other basic household essentials, so these are no problem unless you wish to buy your own, of course.

Regarding the location and transport:

The nearest bus stop is less than a 3 minute walk and takes under 15 minutes to Cambridge City Centre. It then continues on to Cambridge Rail Station. It also takes less than 15 minutes to cycle into the City Centre

The guided busway and the Regional College are about a 7 minute walk, and Cambridge North Rail Station is around a 30 minute walk, 15 minute cycle or less than 10 minutes by car or bus.

There is off-street parking available and a small Tesco, which is only a few minutes walk from the house.

I have a house rabbit, but she pretty much keeps herself to herself, so you'll seldom see her - but obviously might pose a problem for anybody with allergies.

Room available from August 2026. Virtual viewings are fine.

Six months is the preferred maximum; however, this is open to negotiation or can be extended for the right person.
