Cosy room in friendly CB1 houseshare

Hello!

We are Ugne, Ben, Kate and (soon to be leaving) Oscar. We're looking for a housemate to join us on a sublet for 7 months (room available from 20th December to July 31st) while Oscar's overseas on field work.

Practical move-in things: the room is available from the 20th December, but early Jan would also work if preferred).

About the room
The house is located in Romsey, a 5 minute walk from Mill Rd in one direction and 5 mins from Coldham's Common in the other. By bike, you'll be 10 minutes from the City Centre and 5 minutes from the Beehive Centre.

The house has four bedrooms, two bathrooms, a lovely kitchen, and a gorgeous garden perfect for BBQs! There's a double living room area, with a dining table and a cosy sofa space. Your room will be upstairs, overlooking the garden. It's semi-furnished with a double bed and a wardrobe (and the current flatmate is happy to pass on the desk if you'd like it). There's a shed for bikes in the garden and on-street parking.

The room is £600 per month, excluding bills, which should come to around £55 a month in total :) (and then council tax on top if you're not a student, which you'll split with Kate and is Band C).

About us
Kate (29F) is a social policy researcher and loves wild swimming and making music. Ben (33M) is training to be a primary school teacher, and loves groovy socks and making soup (they are delicious). Ugne (25F) is a behavioural economics PhD student, and loves forests and herbalism. Oh, and the 30 tropical fish are core members of the family too!

We’re all pretty busy but pitching in to keep a tidy, clean and calm home is important to us. We love to cook meals together and live pretty communally.
