Double room in relaxed & friendly house!

We are looking for a professional to take over my large double bedroom in a friendly, relaxed household in Cambridge. You’ll be sharing the house with two housemates, Anastasia and Giota. Both housemates are friendly and easy-going, working part of the week from home and going to the office part time. They both like to keep quite busy with various hobbies and ventures - Giota is currently pursuing an MBA alongside full time work and Anastasia is a talented dancer and creative writer! In spite of everyone’s busy schedules, we like to make the house feel like home and be sociable with each other whilst remaining mindful of each other’s space. The vibe of the house is easy-going and homey; we like to cook, bake, go out for drinks, barbecue & have friends over, film nights in and going to the markets and events.

The available room is upstairs at the front of the house. It comes partially furnished with a bed but I’m willing to be flexible with the rest of the furniture depending on needs - please let me know what furniture requirements you have in your reply and we can figure out a fair price from there!

The rest of the house consists of an open plan living room/kitchen downstairs and a bathroom and small spare room that we use for storage and laundry upstairs. The three bedrooms are split across both floors (1 downstairs, 2 upstairs). We also have a small back garden we use in the summer for BBQs or roasting marshmallows on the fire pit, and a front garden that can be used for off-road parking.

The house is end of terrace close to local amenities such as Aldi and Co-Op, and additionally benefits from being a short walk from Jesus Green/Midsummer Common. The town centre is approx 20 minutes away on foot or under 10 mins by bike.

Rent is £600 per month and bills come to approximately £166 per person per month (includes: water, gas, electricity, TV license, internet, and council tax) so £766 per month all in. The deposit is £690. The room is available from mid March for a minimum of six months. Rent to be paid prior to March 28th for the month of April.
