Double room available from 5th August (1-year contract) in large house 15min walk to Addenbrooke’s, 30min bus to city centre (bus stop 5min from house) on quiet road off Queen Edith’s way.

The house is spacious with modern utilities: 2 bathrooms (in addition to another bedroom having an en-suite), 2 sitting rooms, kitchen with gas hob, grill + oven, 2 large fridge-freezers, washing machine and dishwasher. The driveway can accommodate 2 cars and space out front is easy to find too. I don’t drive but do cycle - the garage has plenty space for bike storage.

The bedroom available is garden facing and whilst it only has a small wardrobe, there is under-bed storage and an additional small shared storage room (box room) upstairs with another wardrobe that can be used by the tenant and a desk.

Current housemates are myself (25), a research assistant at the university’s department of Biochemistry, a radiologist at Addenbrookes (in her 30s) and a new tenant (26) who will be joining in August, she works at GSK.

We are looking for a fourth tenant who is clean, kind, and respectful, and would love for the house to continue to feel like a home for everyone in it, with housemates who are equally happy with casual friendly chatter in the kitchen and keeping a quiet, peaceful and relaxed environment in the house.

We have a WhatsApp group and SplitWise: on top of rent, bills come to around £70 pcm and council tax also approx. £70 pcm. Landlord is quick to respond to texts and lives nearby so has been very helpful whenever we’ve needed.
