I’m moving back to London in August, so am looking for someone to take over my lovely room on Lovell Road, Cambridge. It’s just off Milton Road, so in a fantastic location that allows for easy access to Cambridge North, the science park, and central Cambridge.
🚌 Nearest stops are a 4 minute walk away and take you central within 15 mins.
🚂 20 minute walk or 5 minute cycle to Cambridge North train station.
🏢 5 minute walk from the Science Park
🥯 Tesco superstore is a 20 min walk or 10 minute cycle.
🏊♀️ 10 minute cycle to Jesus Green Lido
🌳 less than 30 second walk to our lovely garden that gets plenty of sun!
Who you’d be living with:
💁🏽♂️ Alex, 30, Engineer, has lived at Lovell Road for about 3 years now.
💁🏼♀️Louisa, 23, Marketing assistant, has lived here about a year and works at the Science Park.
💁🏽♀️Christina, 22, Lab specialist, moved here in June and works at the Science park too.
🛏️The room is on the smaller size, but very comfortably fits a double bed, large desk, bookshelf, clothing rail (previously had 2) and looks over the garden. I’d like to sell my bed/mattress, desk, desk chair and bookshelf to the next tenant so we can discuss this!
🏡 We’re a social house, occasionally hanging out, going for a coffee, watching a show together, Louisa occasionally hosts a games night too. We all work full time, so like coming back to a nice environment where we can have down time, so we’d like someone who’s also on our wavelength. We’re a LGBT+ friendly home too!! We have a lovely garden too with access to the side of the house to park bikes. There is also a two car parking spot, so there is a space free but on road parking is permitted with a permit.

💵 The rent is £456.30, and the bills come to roughly £120 a month. This includes WiFi, council tax, gas, electric and water. The deposit is £533. I am still tbc on what to do with my furniture, so we can discuss this. Rent will only be permitted from the date you move in until the end of the month for August.
Some things to note:
Pets aren’t allowed and students are permitted as long as you’re able to pay 1/4 of the council tax (which is included in the bills mentioned above).
References and an ID check are required by our letting agency prior to confirmation of move in.
