Single room in friendly house off Mill Road

Room in a four-person house on Suez Road, at the Romsey end of Mill Road in Cambridge. The Mill Road cafes and shops are a couple of minutes' walk, the station is about twenty minutes on foot and the centre is a short cycle.

You'd be living with Joe, Darcy and John, who are all very lovely and get along well. They often do their own thing, but sometimes cook together and watch things together. They're in their mid-20s to early 30s. John is a PhD student at Cambridge, Joe works in med tech and Darcy works in events. Students are welcome, and they're looking for someone LGBT-friendly.

The room is a single with built-in cupboards and shelving, so it holds more than its size suggests. It comes furnished. You also get plenty of storage outside the room, in the under-stairs area and in the loft. There's a shared living room and kitchen. The room photos show it as the last occupant decorated it; it is plainer now due to my lack of style.

Rent is £550 a month. Bills are on top and currently work out at about £150 a month each, so roughly £700 all in. Deposit is five weeks' rent (£634.61). Council tax band C.

Available now. I'm the one moving out and can go as soon as suits you, so the move-in date is yours to pick. The three current tenants are staying, and you'd join a new tenancy with them. The agent runs standard referencing.
